Cycling Shoes
When buying cycling shoes, make sure you pay enough attention to the shoe-paddle compatibility as it can make lot of difference. If you shoe does not have a good grip on the paddle, chances are that your feet might slip while cycling resulting into a fall or a serious accident. The fit of the shoes should also be taken into account. Always buy a pair of shoes that is neither too tight nor too loose around the foot.

Cycling Gloves
Wearing Cycling gloves will safeguard your hands against sweat/rain and keep them warm in cold temperatures. There is a wide range of Cycling gloves available e.g. Padded/non-padded, full-fingers/half-fingers, woollen/leather etc.

Goggles/Glasses
Wearing goggles will keep your eyes protected against wind and bugs and you will be able to see things more clearly all throughout the ride.

Helmet
You safety is crucial while cycling. Always wear a cycling helmet when you are riding your bike as it will protect your head against any possible fall -better be safe than sorry!

- Wash your cycling outfit on a daily basis and keep your accessories such as drink bottle clean.

- Always wear bright coloured clothes while cycling as they would make you more visible to the pedestrians and traffic around you. Try wearing reflective clothing if possible.
